About

My Story

Hi, I'm Marilyn and I'm the face behind Seeds Nutrition. I am a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) with experience helping my clients transform their health through nutrition and lifestyle. 


I am a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, the world's largest nutrition school, where I studied dietary theories with leading experts in the field of nutrition.  I have also completed a certification in Advanced Coaching Practicum (IIN).


My wellness journey evolved when I witnessed, first-hand, the power of food to nourish and transform.  I believe that the food we eat is our first line of defense against chronic illness, it gives us the power to increase our energy levels, feel happier and live well, longer.  I wish to share this knowledge with others.


I offer individual and group coaching sessions, corporate wellness programs, and competitive advantage coaching geared for collegiate and high school athletes.  

What is a Health Coach and Why do you Need One?

A Health Coach supports and mentors clients in meeting their health and wellness goals.  Taking a whole-foods (holistic) approach, I guide clients in making incremental changes in daily habits to form lasting lifestyle changes.  


As a Health Coach, I provide you with strategies for a healthier life.  Key areas of focus are diet and lifestyle, physical activity, gut health, stress reduction and quality of sleep.  We will explore your relationship with food and how you approach stress.


Regardless of where you in are in your desire for better health, you will benefit from guidance and accountability.  I tailor individualized coaching to meet you where you are.  The tools and skills that help you take control of your health will help you feel more balanced across all aspects of your life.

• 1 hour, comprehensive health history intake

• 2, one-hour coaching sessions per month

• Action plan of no more than 3 items for focus each time we meet

• Relevant healthy food lists, tools and resources to guide your journey

• Unlimited email support


Together, we will develop strategies that work toward meeting your health and wellness goals.  All coaching is confidential, safe, and meant to empower you on your individual health journey.
